MUDRAS FOR SPECIFIC DISEASEAS

Asthma Mudra

Asthma is a chronic inflammation of the bronchial tubes and bronchioles (very small bronchial tubes are called ALVEOLI) in the lungs. When they get filled up with mucous, they hamper normal breathing. Simultaneously, the nose, sinus cavities, throat (Pharynx and Larynx) are also affected, causing swelling of throat, hoarseness, etc. That is Asthma starts from nose and ends up in lungs.

Method

Very simple. Just fold the middle fingers of both hands and join their nails together, keeping Thumbs and other fingers straight and apart.

Do it for 5-10 minutes five times a day.

Benefits

1)     Daily practice of this Mudra cures Asthma. What we have really done is to make SHOONYYA Mudra with both hands and joined the Shoonyya Mudras.

a)     It increases blood circulation to affected parts of body.

b)     It removes the throat problems. By increasing blood circulation and flow of oxygen to lungs and removing throat problems, it strengthens lungs and cures Asthma.

2)     In acute attack of Asthma, first do Bronchitis Mudra for five minutes and then do Asthma Mudra for five minutes.
