What is the vastu remedy for a southeast Bedroom in Northern hemisphere and Northeast bedroom in Southern hemisphere (Occupied by a young couple) in a west facing house, with an attached toilet in the southeast corner?

Vastu Shastra is important to wealth and peace in residential properties, commercial buildings and industrial enterprises. The paths Southeast, South-East, South, South-Southwest, Southwest, North-West, North and North-East are regulated by the sun, Venus, Mars, Rahu, Saturn, Earth, Mercury and Jupiter.

The quality of sleep is affected by the placement of the bed, your sleeping position and the correct amount of lighting. According to Vastu experts, the presence of beams, mirrors, sharp corners and unwanted things under the bed can cause negative vibrations that affect the health of a person. Vastu denotes areas for the location of a bedroom to ensure a stress-free life for individuals.

The south-east direction in Vastu in Northern hemisphere and Northeast direction in southern hemisphere is considered to be like a well-wisher who is sensitive but, if not properly complied with, angry by nature. Lord Agni is the owner of this road, while his symbolic planet is Venus (Shukra).

The sun, the supplier of heat, energy and light, is the greatest when entering this direction, and therefore this direction is best suited and always restricted for fire-related devices. However, great care should be taken while handling and decorating this direction, as fire is an anti-water and anti-air element. It should be handled very elegantly and responsibly.

Vastu says that a bedroom in the south-east in Northern hemisphere and North-east in southern hemisphere can be devastating for couples inhabiting this side. Much like flames, their relationship will crumble to ashes, leading to divorce and breakup. It creates a difficult and tense atmosphere for a married couple and even create health problems for a woman in particular.

Here are a few remedies that you should definitely consider:

·         Relocation of the bed in the southwest corner in Northern hemisphere and Northwest in southern hemisphere of the bedroom to the southeast. It would minimize the negative effects.

·         Sea salt is said to remove harmful energies and is suggested for the elimination of any Vastu flaw. Put a bowl of sea salt or camphor crystals inside the bedroom facing the northeast.

·         A bedroom built in the middle of the house or the Brahmasthan may have a negative effect on the inhabitants. This region is holy, and the appearance of a bedroom is a Vastu Dosha. Install a Crystal Lotus or Copper Pyramid for bedrooms located in this area.

·         Place the bed in the south-west corner of the room in Northern hemisphere and in the Northwest corner in southern hemisphere and make sure the bed does not touch any of the walls of the room.

·         When feasible, paint the walls of the bedroom facing the northeast in white or yellow colour.

·         If the attached bathroom is needed in the bedroom, it should not be in the north-east direction of the house. It could be in the north-west, west or south direction.

·         Air Conditioners can be installed in the North-West, West and South directions. In no case should it be placed in the direction of the North-East. The AC stabilizer can be kept in the south-east direction of the room.

·         The cupboards need to be built on the south and west walls. When that is not feasible, it should be taken up to the South of the North-West. Yet in no case should it be done in North-East, East or North directions.
