According to Vastu Shastra, having a common shared wall between you and your neighbouring apartment may bring a possibility of assorted energies to enter your house. In such a case, you should avoid a flat with a common sharing wall as it brings failure and negative energies to your life. 

Natural light holds great importance in Vastu Shastra. As sunlight is considered a source of positivity, Vastu Shastra for a flat prefers the presence of a window and your balcony in the north or east zone. Morning sunlight is also beneficial for health and peace of your mind.

The kitchen room is always an integral part. According to Vastu Shastra for flats, the southeast corner of your flat is usually preferable for the kitchen. The southeast direction must be chosen for positioning the gas or stove. 

The presence of the bedroom in the east and south-east direction might trigger anxiety and conflict as per Vastu for flats. 

According to Vastu Shastra, the presence of the bathroom between the north and northeast directions is not recommended for a flat, as it might affect the immunity of a person. According to Vastu Shastra, the number of doors and windows is recommended as an even number of doors and windows for each floor.
