INDICATIONS OF COLOURS IN VASTU

RED: Red signifies everything sacred and divine. It is associated with joy, love, and passion. Red is linked to the fire element, the maximum red colour at home should be used in the south direction.

BLUE: Blue colour brings a sense of peace and tranquillity to any room that it is used in. As blue also represents elements such as air and water, it’s said to reduce stress and pain and bring about healing. That is why it’s advised to use this colour in rooms facing East.

GREEN: Green is best for rooms in the North and signifies healing, growth, fertility, prosperity, and like I mentioned, positive energy. As this colour is such an active colour that stimulates the mind, it’s better used in children’s rooms and their study areas.

YELLOW: This colour signifies illumination, light, intellect, and higher mental activity.

Four harmonious pairings. The best colour pairings are Green-Yellow, Red-Blue, Blue-Green, and Red Yellow.
