RAHU MANTRA IN RAHU KALAM
The best time to chant the Rahu mantra in the
daytime is during Rahu Kalam (Rahu Kaal), a roughly 1.5-hour
period daily that is specifically auspicious for pacifying Rahu. While Rahu, a
shadow planet, is often worshipped at night, Saturday daytime (especially
during Rahu Kalam) is ideal to reduce negative influences.
Optimal Daytime Times
- Rahu Kalam (Daily): This is considered the most effective time
during the day to chant to reduce negative energy. The specific time
changes daily; you should check a local panchang (Hindu
calendar) for that day's timing.
- Saturdays: Saturday is the most crucial day for Rahu and
chanting during Rahu Kalam on a Saturday is highly effective.
- Early Morning (Dawn): Some practitioners suggest early morning
for calm, focused chanting.
- Noon: The Rahu Gayatri mantra can be recited at noon.
