MAHASHEERSH (Headache) MUDRA

This is
another powerful Mudra formed by the combination of one Pranik Mudra and one
TATTVA Mudra of the second category whereby excessive flow of energy is
decreased by bring back balance. This Mudra is formed by folding the Ring
finger and placing it, tip on the base of the Thumb. (SURYA MUDRA), while VYAN
MUDRA is formed by the union of Index finger, Middle finger and the Thumb tip.
MAHA SHEERSHA MUDRA is thus formed by folding the Ring finger, and joining the
tips of Index finger and Middle finger to the tip of the Thumb. Keep little
finger straight.
In Sanskrit,
MAHA means BIG, and SHEERSHA means HEAD. Therefore, MAHASHEERSHA means BIG
HEAD.
Benefits
1) As the name suggests itself, it is
related to HEAD. It relieves all kinds of head-aches. Head-ache caused by any
reason whether by tension or sinusitis, cold, hot or cold weather, acidity, menstrual
problems, back-ache or cervical pains-get cured by this Mudra. Head-aches are
caused by swelling of veins in the head. This Mudra removes this swelling by
equalizing blood circulation in the body.
2) It cures swelling of SINUS cavities
i.e. SINUSITIS.
3) It relieves mental tensions.
4) Vyan Mudra cures blood pressure
problems and Surya Mudra cures head-ache, common cold, etc. Maha Sheersha Mudra
gives benefits of these two Mudras simultaneously.
5) COMMON COLD and HEADACHES are the
most common forms of sickness in the world, and is the leading cause of loss of
working-man hours and efficiency. Virtually, every person suffers from it in
one’s life. Head-aches can sometimes be crippling. Do MAHASHEERSHA Mudra and
save yourself from headaches.

5-6 minutes thrice a day.
