SHREE YANTRA

Sri Yantra, also known as Sri Chakra, is a complex sacred geometry used for worship, devotion and meditation. Yantra means 'instrument' or 'machine' in Sanskrit. This sacred symbol is in use for thousands of years, and its origin is clouded in mystery.

The Sri Yantra in its central portion contains nine triangles. Four of them point upward and represent the unmanifest power of the universe; all that is beyond our quotidian sense perceptions. They are thought of as being masculine and represent the masculine aspect of divinity.

A Sri Yantra should be placed in the North-East directing of your space and should only be placed on a Friday. Before you place the Sri Yantra you must clean that place following the rituals using milk, saffron (Kesar), and water, and after that just by water.

This ancient symbol is very powerful because it was built with Sacred Geometry allowing it to clear the fog that surrounds a person’s life. Shree Yantra is the source of pure energy. Meaning, it is highly sensitive and has magnificent magnetic powers.

How to meditate with Shri Yantra?

1.    Position the yantra so its center is at eye level and a comfortable distance away. ...

2.    Now allow your eyes to see the triangle that encloses the dot (Bindu). ...

3.    Allow your vision to expand to include the circles outside of the triangles. ...

4.    Bring your awareness to lotus petals outside the circle.

To energise yantra there is an elaborate practice. First you have to recite mantras to call related Devi's and devta. A whole lot of shodash upchar rituals have to be conducted. That means 16 actions including asaan grahan, bath, vastra, scent, flowers, food, long ilayachi, pan, dakshina, arti.

The worship of Sri Chakra should be at home only after the initiation done by a Sri Vidya Guru. Since it consists of many different Aavarana (stages) puja and the respective Aavarana Gods and Goddesses needs to welcomed (aavahan) and you the the abhishekam to each and every pair with their respective Mantras.

A person holding the yantra should wake up early in the morning, take bath and do preparation for conducting a special puja for Shri Yantra. Establish the yantra in a red cloth and worship it with Ganga jal and milk. It is kept in a pure and clean place like cupboard, temple pace at home or office etc.

Any individual who uses this Yantra achieves growth and greater affluence. The positive vibrations help to reach higher limits, both materialistically and spiritually.
