VASTU AND CHILDBIRTH

1)     A north-west bedroom is the ideal direction for bedroom for couples desirous of starting a family.

2)     The placement of mirrors in the bedroom should be such that they do not reflect the bed.

3)     Use colours such as lilac, peach, mint or white to brighten up your bedroom.

4)     Keep fresh flowers in the room. You can also keep fruits, especially pomegranates, which is a symbol of fertility.

5)     The attached toilet door must be kept shut and the toilet seat cover down.

6)     The wife should sleep towards the left side of her husband.

7)     The foot of the bed should not directly face the door of the room.

8)     Make sure that the bed is not directly face of the room and that sharp objects like the edge of a table or cabinet or a wall corner are not pointed towards the bed.

9)     For conception, light breathing exercises supplemented by sleeping with the head towards north in southern hemisphere or east is very helpful.

10)                        It is recommended that after conception the couple should move to a northern bedroom. This is important for safe continuation of the pregnancy.
