VASTU AND PYRAMID POWER
Pyramid and pyramid-like structures have been
identified with Egyptian and Mayan cultures. Pyramids are geometrically precise
structures. The height of a pyramid is equal to the radius of a circle, whose
circumference is equal to the area of the square base of a pyramid.
Food which is kept under a pyramid displays a
more or less consistent flavor. The application of pyramids is done in healing
and meditation. Most of the religious buildings, be it temples, gurudwaras,
cathedrals, churches or mosques, have a pyramidal roof or a round dome-shaped
structure over the main deity or prayer area. Great spiritual energy is said to
flow from the tip of the pyramid into a room and meditation results are
intensified. By meditating in such a charged area, a devotee benefits from a
boost in cosmic energy. The traditional practice in South India of constructing
pyramidal gopuras and shikhars of a temple creates a powerful confluence of
cosmic energy which vibrates evenly throughout the entire structure. Pyramidal
roofs can also be provided for the prayer room or the meditation room in a
residence. Paint the room white, saffron, yellow or cream on the inside. Never
use black or red color in a pyramid.
Square base of the pyramid has to be properly
aligned to the cardinal directions for them to be effective. A pyramid-shaped
room should not be used as a bedroom, living-room, kitchen etc. When the
pyramidal shaped room is used for meditation purposes, sit at the centre of
west direction facing east.
The pyramidal shape can neutralize negative
energy and can be used to remedy various vastu doshas and to energise spaces.
Plastic or synthetic materials are not very effective, as plastic is a bad
conductor of energy. The material used for pyramids should be natural, either
stone, crystal, wood or metal can be used. The base can be 11x11 inches and the
height from the mid-point should be 7 inches. When placed along the north,
pyramids can facilitate the payment of held up money. When placed towards the
east, they help in improvement in health and family matters. When placed
towards west, they help in improving relationships or bringing unexpected help.
Finally, when pyramids are placed I the south they can be the harbingers of
fame and fortune.
Pyramids can also be used to counter the vastu
faults in South-west, south or west zones. As per vastu, south-west extensions
or entrances in south-west zones are considered unlucky. In certain cases,
providing wooden pyramidal ceiling in the extended portions can remedy the
situation.
Pyramids can also be used above the main door
in case the main door is in inauspicious grid positions. Multiple pyramids can
be used to counter the effect of negative energy streams.
