1)      Bhoomi puja is a process wherein you are asking mother earth to permit to build the house on the land purchased by you.

2)      It is a process wherein you invoke the divine powers to bestow their blessings on you to start construction of your house.

3)      Land should be clean and without any clutter.

4)      Bhoomi Puja and Shila Nyas should be done within three months respectively.

5)      First January to 12th February Bhoomi puja and Shila Nyas should be done in the Northeast corner.

6)      Thirteen February to 14th May the Bhoomi puja and shila nyas should be done in Northwest corner.

7)      Fifteen May to 16th August the Bhoomi puja and shila nyas should be done in the southwest corner.

8)      Seventeen August to 16th November the Bhoomi puja and shila nyas should be done in the Southeast corner.

9)      Seventeen November o 31st December the Bhoomipuja and Shila Nyas should be done in the Northeast corner.

10)  Excavation should be done priority wise first in North, then East, then in West and last priority is South.

11)  For a tilted plot the excavation should be first in Northeast then in Southeast, then in Northwest then lastly in Southwest.
