VASTU FOR STOMACH AND SPLEEN

STOMACH & SPLEEN

The organs of storage, the stomach and its partner spleen play a vital role in storing blood cells and platelets.

The stomach and spleen represent the element of Earth. Just as Mother Earth’s job is to nurture growth and all living creatures, the stomach energy is what “feeds” all the organs enough power to perform their jobs.

As per Vastu Shastra, Southwest is the direction of the earth element. It is therefore the direction that governs the activities of the stomach and spleen.

Adjacent to the southwest is the south of southwest direction. The energies of this direction are responsible for the extraction of nutrients from food and disposing of what is waste from the body.

Thus, this direction must be carefully designed for the body to be able to get the required nutrients and energy.

The stomach is the organ most affected by chronic worry, anxiety or over thinking. Remember, the stomach is responsible not only for digesting food and drinks, but also for digesting your emotions and thoughts.

Its role is to keep what nurtures your spirit and letting go of what doesn’t!

The muscles are the tissue associated with the stomach. If your muscles are weak and underdeveloped, or if they cramp or tire easily, you may have a stomach or spleen dysfunction.

Therefore, as per Vastu, you must keep the Southwest clear of any Vastu doshas like placing a toilet or an entrance.

Emotion associated with the stomach: Worry, anxiety, and over thinking.

If you constantly worry or over-think (especially negative thoughts!), get anxious easily, you may have a stomach disorder. Experiencing any emotions chronically or excessively can damage the stomach and seriously jeopardize your digestive health.

As mentioned above, the digestive system processes not just the food you eat, but the thoughts and emotions that you internalize.
