Brahmasthan Vastu tips and
remedies
The Brahmasthan is the point from where positive
energies get distributed in all directions.
According
to the ancient architectural science Vastu Shastra, each area of a house has a
special significance based on its directions. Similarly, the centre of the
house, known as Brahmasthan in Vastu, is considered as a sacred space
and a zone with the strongest energy. All the positive energies spread to the
different areas of the house from the Brahmasthan. This space is auspicious and
considered as an ideal location for a puja space or meditation room. Moreover,
there are certain Vastu rules that must be followed to ensure this area remains
a source of positive energy. In this article, we will share Brahmasthan

as a small universe connected to the cosmic universe. The life force moves from
the middle of the structure to outer space and back again. Thus, one should keep
this space free from any obstructions.
The centre

Brahmasthan Vastu dosha remedies
Placement
of certain objects or rooms in the Brahmasthan can have negative effects on the
inhabitants of the house. For example, constructing a bedroom in the
Brahmasthan zone can lead to confusion and kitchen or a fireplace can cause
health problems. Similarly, designing a staircase or a water feature in the
centre of the house can impact the finances.
Install a
consecrated Yantra of Lord Brahma in north, northwest, or east corner of the
house. Make sure the yantra is made of copper. The yantra ensures the proper
distribution of energy in the Brahmasthan zone. One can also keep a crystal
lotus to remove the Brahmasthan Vastu dosha.
Vastu remedy to ensure academic
development
Place the
study table in north or east side of the room and keep some gap from the wall
to increase energy flow.
Vastu remedy to ensure good
health
Make sure
to sleep with your head towards the south direction. Do not place any mirror
reflecting the bed as it can drain the person’s energy and cause
sickness.
The centre
of the house must be kept empty, and a minimum number of structures or
furniture should be placed. Keep a candle burning in this space, which can help
in the recovery of a sick person in the house.
Vastu remedy to ensure positive
relationships
- Place
happy family pictures in the northeast corner of the house to bring
happiness.
- Keep a
sandalwood statue to promote harmony.
- You
can also keep a wind chime with crystals in the bedroom. This will help
reduce fights and disagreements among family members.
The Brahmasthan, as
per Vastu is an important zone in a house. Thus, it is important to
find this area in the house and keep it Vastu-compliant. In case there is heavy
furniture or kitchen or bathroom areas in this space, it is important to make
