ASTROLOGICAL REMEDIES TO FIX VASTU DOSHAS
Vastu shastra an ancient Indian Architectural
system, aims to create a positive environment by aligning with natural forces.
Vastu Dosha occurs when there is an imbalance within a building, leading to
various problems. Some effective remedies include choosing the right direction
for the main entrance balancing the five natural elements, maintaining a
clutter free center, incorporating water features, using wind chimes, and
specific colours, keeping the North direction clean, having plants, organising
the kitchen properly positioning the mirrors wisely, placing yantras
strategically, and burning camphor during home pujas. These remedies help
mitigate the adverse effects of Vastu Dosha and create a harmonious living
environment.
Vedic astrology deeply rooted in Indian culture
for centuries, has been a guiding light and a source of valuable insights into
individual well-being, often referred to as Vastu Shastra. Vastu Shastra is an Indian architectural
system firmly grounded in texts that detail the principles of design, layout,
measurements, ground preparation, space arrangement, and spatial geometry.
Its core objective is to create a harmonious
and positive environment by aligning with the natural forces and elements of
earth, fire, wind, water and sky.
On the other hand, Vastu Dosha occurs when
there is an imbalance within a building or space concerning its harmony with
natural elements and energies. This imbalance can give rise to various
problems, including financial instability, mental stress, relationship
conflicts, career obstacles, and recurring health issues. Vastu Dosha often arises from improper room
placement, misalignment of doors, windows, entrances, toilets, and an incorrect
orientation concerning cardinal directions.
1) Choosing
the right direction for the main entrance: Consider your doorstep as the
gateway for energies to flow in and out. Ideally, it should face a favourable
direction. Vastu favours East, North and North-East directions to promote good
luck and prosperity. Ensure cleanliness at the main entrance and decorate it
with auspicious symbols like swastika or Om.
2) Balance
all five elements: According to vedic astrology the universe comprises of five
natural elements, air, water, space, earth, and fire. Maintaining a balance between
these in your home is essential to create a positive and harmonious
environment.
3) Maintaining
a clutter free center: In many traditional households, the centre of the house
is considered “Brahmasthan”, where all directions meet. This sacred and
powerful zone requires cleanliness to preserve balance and purity. Family
members often prefer to sit in “aangan” (central courtyard) once a day,
especially in the evening.
4) Aquariums:
Water is one of the fundamental natural elements. Incorporating water features
like aquariums to fountains into your home can bring good luck and prosperity.
Placing them in the North-East direction, which corresponds to Varuna Dev, is
recommended.
5) Use of
wind chimes: Wind chimes, when touched by the wind, produce soothing sounds and
have the potential to bring positivity and good luck.
6) Use of
colours: Colours are believed to have spe3cific roles in attracting energy. Use
of specific colours in different rooms as per Vastu, to harness positive energy
and good luck.
7) The
North direction: The North direction holds utmost importance in Vastu, as
energy predominantly flows in this direction. It is crucial to maintain
cleanliness and keep this area clutter-free.
8) Plants
magic: Plants serve as natural stress relievers and help you connect with
nature. They not only enhance the beauty but also reduce stress, purify the
air, and attract positive energy. Planting a Tulsi at home is an ancient
practice believed to bring positivity and good luck.
9) Consider
kitchen direction: In Vedic astrology, the kitchen represents the heart of the
home where fire sustains life. Vastu prescribes that the kitchen be
well-organised and situated in the South-East direction, as it is ruled by
Agni-Dev. Construction in the North-east direction is avoided.
10) Mirrors:
Mirrors are often regarded as potent tools for amplifying the energy, both
positive and negative. It is essential to position them wisely in the North or
East directions and refrain from hanging them in the South or West directions.
11) Place different
yantras: Make use of different types of Yantras and place them strategically to
harmonize and balance the energies of your house.
12) Light
Camphor: Burning Camphor during home puja is believed to purify the air and
eliminate negative energies.
These remedies are believed to
help mitigate the adverse effects of Vastu Dosha and create a more positive and
harmonious living environment.
