TYPES OF VASTU

There are three types of VAASTU- SRISHTI- VARDHAMANA. In each of these types of Vaastu, there is an element of integration between the occupant and building, between the environment energies and the lifestyle of the people. This relationship can actually be predicted.

Vastu Puja

A Vastu Puja is a ceremony that can be performed at home. Steps in a Vastu Puja include:

  1. Placing a toran on the front door.

Chikitsa Vastu is about how our living environment affects our well-being.

"Vardhaman Vastu" refers to the application of Vastu Shastra principles, an ancient Indian system of architecture and design, specifically focused on promoting growth, prosperity, and positive energy within a space, often associated with the name "Vardhaman" which signifies "growth" or "increase" in Sanskrit.

Key points about Vardhaman Vastu:

·       Meaning of "Vardhaman":

"Vardhaman" directly translates to "growing" or "increasing" in Sanskrit, so applying "Vardhaman Vastu" aims to create an environment that encourages positive development and abundance.

·       Focus on prosperity:

When designing a space with Vardhaman Vastu principles, special attention is given to layout, directions, and specific elements to attract wealth and success.

·       Integration with traditional Vastu:

The core principles of Vardhaman Vastu are based on the established guidelines of Vastu Shastra, considering aspects like the alignment of the building with the cardinal directions, placement of rooms, and use of specific colours and materials.

The Earth on which we live is rotating on itself and this produces TERRESTRIAL ENERGY FIELDS.

The Earth is part of the SOLAR SYSTEM and goes round the Sun once a year. The Solar system has nine planets. Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, (and the shadows of planets Rahu and Ketu).

This Solar system and the energy bodies beyond the solar system (called galaxy) produce cosmic energies. These energies impugning on the house (building)/ factory etc. Produce various energy fields: Positive and negative as also affects Human beings residing in the building.

The energies come in various directions. We have mainly 4 cardinal and 4 sub directions. According to Vaastu Shastra each direction has a “Lord”.

In Hindu mythology, the "lords of each direction" are known as the "Aṣṭa-Dikpāla" (Guardians of Eight Directions), with the following deities presiding over each direction:

  • East: Indra (Lord of the sky, rain, and thunder)
  • South: Yama (Lord of the dead)
  • West: Varuna (Lord of the oceans)
  • North: Kubera (Lord of wealth)
  • Northeast: Ishana (A form of Shiva, associated with creation and destruction)
  • Southeast: Agni (God of fire)
  • Northwest: Vayu (God of wind)
  • Southwest: Nirriti (Goddess of misfortune and destruction)

The study of these energies and their interaction in a House/Building/ Residence/ Factory is called VAASTU Science (Shastra). By following a Vaastu professional’s advice in construction of Building/Factory one can make use of these natural energies to one’s own benefits regarding health, wealth, and prosperity.
