EFFECTS OF NORTH (SOUTH IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE)

A North Vithidhula (T-junction/road hitting the plot) is generally considered very auspicious in Vastu Shastra, provided it hits the specific, positive part of the north side. The north direction is ruled by Lord Kubera (the god of wealth), making it a highly desirable orientation for financial prosperity. 

Here is a breakdown of the Vastu implications for a North Vithidhula plot:

1. Auspicious vs. Inauspicious North T-Junctions

  • Highly Auspicious (North-Northeast / North of North-East): A road hitting the plot from the North-Northeast is considered excellent. It brings prosperity, financial profit, and is in high demand by investors.
  • Favourable (North-East): Veedhi Shoola from the northeast provides immense power and wealth.
  • Avoid (North-Northwest): If the road hits from the Northwest, it can cause financial instability, heavy expenditure, and issues for the women in the house. 

2. Vastu Tips for a North Vithidhula Plot

  • Entrance Location: The main entrance should ideally be placed in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th pada (step) of the north side, with the 5th pada (Soma) being the best for maximum wealth.
  • Keep It Light: The north-east portion of the plot should be kept open, light, and clean to allow positive energy to flow freely.
  • Slope: The plot should ideally slope towards the north or north-east corner.
  • Boundary Walls: The boundary walls on the north side should be lower and thinner than those on the south and west sides.
  • Avoid Obstructions: Ensure no large trees, electric poles, or heavy structures directly block the road-hitting side.
