PLACEMENT OF MIRRORS AS PER VASTU

Vastu Shastra generally advises against placing mirrors on the west (or south) walls, as these are considered detrimental to energy, potentially causing financial instability or conflict. The best, most auspicious directions for mirrors are the north or east walls to promote prosperity and positive energy flow. 

Key Considerations for Mirror Placement:

  • West Wall Exception: While not ideal, if you must place a mirror on the west wall, use a square or round shape and consider covering it when not in use.
  • Best Locations: North or East walls are ideal, particularly in the dining area or living room to reflect positive energy.
  • Bedroom Rule: Never place a mirror on the west wall if it reflects the bed, as this causes, restlessness, anxiety, and health issues.
  • Preferred Shapes: Square or rectangular mirrors are generally preferred, while oval or irregular shapes are less ideal. 

To maximize positive energy and avoid negative, it is best to avoid the west wall for mirrors.
