EFFECT OF TOILET IN THE SOUTH AS PER VASTU SHASTRA
According to Vastu Shastra, a W.C. (toilet)
should generally not be placed directly in the South, as it can
disrupt energy flow, causing issues with stability, health, and relationships.
The ideal, permissible, and corrected locations for toilets in the southern
region are limited to the South-of-Southwest (SSW) zone.
Key Vastu Considerations for South/South-West
Toilets:
- Ideal Zones: The best placement for a W.C. is in
the West-of-Northwest (WNW) or South-of-Southwest (SSW).
- Negative Zones: Avoid placing toilets in the absolute South
(causes energy disruption) or Southeast (causes fire-related, financial,
or health issues due to Agni-dev).
- Remedies: If a toilet is already in an
incorrect southern area, you can mitigate negative impacts by placing a
3-inch-thick yellow strip (tape) on the floor around the toilet
seat.
