FIVE ELEMENTS SQUARE TUBES IN VASTU
In Vastu Shastra, the Five Elements (Pancha
Bhootas—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space) are considered the building blocks
of the universe, and their balance determines the energy flow within a home.
"Five Elements Square Tubes" refers
to specialized, modern, and non-destructive Vastu remedies—specifically metal
strips—designed to correct elemental imbalances in a building, particularly in
apartments where structural changes are not possible.
Here is a breakdown of how these metal
"tubes" (usually flat strips) are used to balance the five elements
based on direction:
1. Earth Element (Prithvi) - Yellow/Brass
- Direction: Southwest (SW)
- Purpose: Provides stability, strength, and grounding in life.
- Use: A brass or bronze strip is buried in the floor
in the Southwest zone to strengthen the earth element, particularly if
there is a toilet or low area in the SW.
2. Water Element (Jal) - Blue/Aluminium/Stainless
Steel
- Direction: Northeast (NE)
- Purpose: Governs intelligence, emotions, and wealth flow.
- Use: An aluminium or stainless-steel strip is used
in the Northeast to balance this zone, especially if there is a kitchen
(fire) in the NE corner.
3. Fire Element (Agni) - Red/Copper
- Direction: Southeast (SE)
- Purpose: Represents passion, drive, energy, and money flow.
- Use: A copper strip is buried in the floor in the
Southeast zone to increase fire energy if the kitchen is missing or if the
area is occupied by water elements.
4. Air Element (Vayu) - Green/Stainless Steel
- Direction: Northwest (NW)
- Purpose: Governs support, movement, and opportunities.
- Use: A stainless steel or aluminium strip is
installed in the Northwest to enhance support from family and bankers.
5. Space Element (Akash) -
White/Iron or Stainless Steel
- Direction: Centre (Brahmasthan) and West
- Purpose: Represents expansion, clarity, and overall harmony.
- Use: An iron or specialized, white-coated metal strip is
used to balance the centre or west zone if it is blocked or misaligned.
How They Are Installed
- Non-Destructive: These are not meant to destroy walls. They
are installed by making a small, thin cut in the floor (usually at the
threshold of a room or along a wall base).
- Directional Alignment: They are laid down in the floor,
cutting across the zone that needs correction.
- Vastu "Surgery": This technique is often called
"Vastu Shastra Floor Strip Technique" or "Space
Surgery," as it re-aligns the energy zones.
Key Considerations
- Consultation Required: The use of these strips should only be
done under the guidance of a qualified Vastu consultant, as placing the
wrong metal in the wrong direction can worsen the Vastu dosh.
- 5-Element Kit: Sometimes, these are sold as a set of five
distinct metals, each representing a different Tattva (element).
